An enemy is someone who is attacking you personally. Anyone undermining my work or things I care about becomes my enemy.

wow, this one is so deep. i believe that it is someone who goes against you. it really doesn't have to be personal, because war is two countries at odds with each other so it can be by association as well.
you may not know in fact they are an enemy, until they strike.

For me, it's when the other person decides that they don't like me, for whatever reason.....I don't consider anyone an enemy.

If they drive you crazy just by opening their mouth then they are your enemy!!! I have one at work!

Mooching and backstabbing. It becomes very obvious. I'm rarely surprised by it, I have a little psycho in me...I can usually tell when someone's not going to be good for me. (yes, I did mean 'psycho')

And when they don't stop after logic and reason and reasonable communication.

Someone who does something to hurt me is who I would consider an enemy.If they do something to hurt you then they are probably not your friend.
