Is this a president or a dictator? Have the people not spoken loudly and clearly that we want out of his war and his war bills?

What does it mean that he continues to refuse the will of the people?

People had the decision to decide the course of the war in Iraq in the last presidential election. If the people were overwhelmingly opposed to the war in Iraq, then there would be an overwhelming support of democratic policy to cut and run. Most people are frustrated over winning the peace in Iraq. The war is over. Winning the peace is the problem. By refusing the will of the people, whose people are you talking about? You need to get your perception attuned to reality.

How is the President FORCING you to pay for anything? We're still paying for the troops in Bosnia that Clinton sent for peace keeping. They've been there how long? Almost ten years? That's a lot longer than the six months he originally promised. Should we stop paying for that, too, or is that OK because you like Clinton?

So you slept through all of your civics courses in school?

Only Congress can spend money. The President cannot 'force' anybody to pay for anything because his only options are to approve or veto the budget presented to him by Congress.

Should people who don't have kids (or choose to put them in private school) be forced to pay for your child's education?

Should people be forced to pay for inmates to have a cable tv, clean clothes, and three meals a day?

Should people be forced to pay for housing, educating, and feeding illegal immigrants?

Should people be forced to pay for abortions, drug rehabilitation and other questionable medical procedures performed for people on Medicaid?

NO! But does that stop the government from taxing your paycheck and everything you buy to fund all of these things?

the vast majority of the people dont know the true goings on in the world. if they did everything according to what the people want nothing would get done. this is why we dont have a democracy. You focus on one or two things but the truth is greater which you obviously dont understand or are not willing to listen

Answer: Presidents make decisions. Not everyone agrees, that is why we put people in charge. Even if I don't like a particular President, I will respect the office of the President. Sooner or later you get a leader you agree with. meh...big deal, like opinions matter.

No! There has not been a draft. He's fought the war with willing people. To draft people to fight what most people consider an illegal and immoral war would be another one of the terrible wrongs.

YOUR representatives voted to continue funding. Since Congress is the only body that can levy taxes and legislate spending, you should talk to them.

But at least this spending is constitutional. Welfare, social security, medicare, medicaid, corporate welfare, education spending, medical research spending, etc, etc. are all unconstitutional. Why should I pay for unconstitutional spending?

Your country is not being run by He who must not be named alone...He also has advisors who tells Him what to do...Oh, and He has oil interests all over the planet. I am not saying that it was you, but I often wonder why Americans voted for Him for a second time in the first place? To vote for Him is after all to agree with Him.... Don't worry, I will hold thumbs for Hillary to become your next president...Hopefully she is a bit more compassionate than Him.

Oh, PS, if this will make you feel any better, in my country we are forced to pay for our corrupt government official's court cases. And they keep appealing, even when they have no case. Google Jacob Zuma and Shabir Shaik, if you want more info.
