What a great question. I'm of the school of thought that people can 'agree to disagree'. For instance, I don't understand how people can be gay. I wouldn't choose it for myself, but I don't condemn anyone else for choosing to be gay. I'm also not religious - I don't understand the desire to believe in a higher being. I think no less of Christians or Muslims or anyone else for what they believe in. Each to their own - unless they're hurting other people.

As for the unique thing that makes me who I am - I think it's the appreciation that I am unique, among other unique people. By that I mean I'm not trying to fit in with the popular people but I'm not trying to be a rebel, either, by rejecting all that's popular. I just bumble along, being me, liking some popular stuff, some obscure stuff, and not being afraid to be a bit out there. I've had some goofy hair colours, I've been known to get on the PA at work and exclaim 'panties' and stuff like that, just because I can. I drive around in the wee small hours with weird stuff like Tom Waits playing nice and loud. And I try and appreciate the ways in which others are different, and sometimes I learn great stuff from them.

To answer "the meat" of your question first: Some people can't stand not to have uniformity in everything. They can't accept individuality, so they believe talking about it "until they're blue in the face" will change things. What is my uniqueness? I'm told I think quickly, have a quick wit, and write well. Not to be morbid, but if someone said I had to have something written on a tombstone to stick in the ground after my death it would read: "If we have met, in some form in this life, I hope somehow I made you smile."

I dont know why people critizise other people but everybody has done it. I guess when one person sees something that they wouldnt do it seems weird to the person so they talk about it. Some people dont do it necessairly do it to be mean, they jsut do it.... but everybody has their own opinon, they might think they are right but other people might think they wrong.. but who really knows what is right or wrong? People jsut have different ways of seeing things...

What a dull place this world would be if everyone thought and acted the same. that's what makes us unique, Me? I am renown for my sense of humour and sense of fun. I also have a serious side with my poetry writing. everyone has their own opinions, just because it's not the same as ours it does not make them or us wrong.
