The Colts are the local team-the one I'm exposed to the most. As you can imagine, I always hear great things about Joseph.

I'm curious how others see him; Do you see other offensive players who are having similar rookie seasons? Strengths or weaknesses? Please share your scouting reports!

A healthy rookie RB playing behind an experienced line on a team that has such a passing threat is bound to do well. Not to take anything away from him, but we'll need a few more seasons out of him to figure out what he really is. For now, he's a rookie and the opposing teams have not yet had a chance to see him in action and account for the way he runs.

Well, I'm a Colts fan from way back, and I live in the Dallas area - so we don't hear enough about him; but, I've watched him, and followed him a little. He's good. He's got the potential to be great - like Edge. However, it's just his rookie season, and he's been splitting time with Dominick - I would say that he's coming into his own. He might rush for 1000 yards this season, which would be great - but as for greatness, let's hold off on that for a few seasons. If he can do what Edge did, which I think he can, then we can talk about greatness.

If he performs well in the Superbowl against the Cowboys this year, then yeah - he deserves his accollades.

He'll do well in the Colt's offense. I don't think he's a HOF caliber player though. He's a good player in a great offense. He's no Edge James, but he is much better than Rhodes.

The scouting reports and his NFL combine results showed him to be a very athletic player (one of the fastest 40 times in the combine) who needs some polishing. He's a 5'11, 210 lb back. He came from an LSU team that relies heavily on the run also.

Future Hall of Famer? Get real. He has shown good promise for a rookie RB but future hall of famer is a huge stretch.

i think he's a rookie phenom but its WAY to early to tell if hes a hall of famer. i think he's definately the colts starter in the near future and will go to many pro bowls. there are also great rookie rb's this year...for example laurence moroney

What? He has had two good games, not even the best rookie RB taken in last year's draft....that goes to Marony. In terms of a career Maroney and Bush will be better at RB, and countless others at different positions......Young, Hawk, Cutler, Jennings, Leinart, just to name a few.

He'll be a great player for years to come. I have trouble with making hall-of-fame predictions for anyone who is a rookie, but it is certainly possible.
