Tree is up and it is real. Balsam or Frasier Firs are the best because they have small needles and are easy to vacuum. They also smell the best. I buy a 10 footer and cut off a foot or two and use the rest for garland. Its wonder full. I also have about 10 fiber optic trees that I put around the house. Merry Christmas

Our tree is artificial. We use to get real ones but it is so hard to find a nice one, and when we do it doesn't last long. I miss the smell of a real tree in the house. We don't have ours up yet, probably not for another two weeks or so.

We have an artificial tree for the past 5 years. The real ones were getting to be messy and a hassle. Although I love their smell!

Yes we put our tree up on Thanksgiving.

Artificial. We don't like cutting down trees for the sake of decorating it then tossing it into nowhere once we're done. We have not put up our tree yet. It is a family tradition for everyone to put the tree up together, and my mom isn't home from the hospital yet. So we will wait on her.

Ours is artificial, our son had allergies, but it's a really nice looking tree. Plus it's not the tree that counts it's the family at christmas. Have a great one

My entire house has been decorated for 3 weeks now. My tree is artificial, otherwise, I couldn't put up a real tree beginning of November.

We are going to have a real tree, my husband says he will never have an artificial one. We will be going to cut it down this weekend so obviously it is not up yet.

My tree is real. I believe in the "old fashion" (read, before WalMart) tradition of not decorating until the beginning of Advent (the time-honored 4 weeks before Christmas that was used to prepare yourself and your house for the birth of Christ). I will start decorating on the 3rs of December and we will get our tree the next weekend probably. We also keep the tree up until January 6th (12th night/Little Christmas/Epiphany).
