Well, what type of Indians? I have a photo of Geronimo wearing a top hat in a Locomobile in 1903 but somehow I don't think that is what you have in mind. Indian cars are in the main old western models (and I mean old) the most famous being the Hindustan based on the 1955 Morris Oxford. The motorcycles are also 1950's British design. However there is now Tata which gave us the infamous City Rover (available on the Internet for under £3,000 new) which is so out of date it has drum and not disc brakes. Perhaps Indian designs will transcend the 1960's and 70's in the end but for now they are a sub continent, third world car which has no relevance in the western world, not even on cost grounds. They couldn't pass the emissions tests anyway.
