They make millions per year ( Corporation ) and they pay their help so little. Where is the respect?

A friend works there and she has two children. How can she make it on 8 per hour? ( She cooks for customers )

The answer to your question is in your question. They make millions per year because they pay the staff so little. As an employer would you rather pay low wages and have a huge profit or pay higher wages and not have as much profit? Your friend should look for another job if it's not enough, one that pays 'with respect'. Good luck ;)

Because they can for unskilled, uneducated labour which is easily replaced. Sorry but it's a fact of life. How does having children relate to your rate of pay?
