should just be a case of uninstalling it, but there again this is IE we are talking about. You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from www.download.com. Its faster, more user friendly, easily customizable to suit your need and no problems.

Go to Start>Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs. Every program installed will be listed once generated, towards the bottom you will need to Remove Windows Internet Explorer 7. After which should revert it back IE 6.0; that is how I removed it during the Beta testing stages of 7.0. MS is migrating everyone over to the IE 7.0 through Windows updates, I believe its not a required one. Sometime in the future however they will require IE 7.0 be installed for some features of the net to work properly (future techn).

The easiest thing to do would be to do a system restore. Click on START, then go into help and support. On the left, click on perfornamce and maintenance. Click on the topic that sais USING SYSTEM RESTORE TO UNDO CHANGES. Then click on the run the restore wizard topic. This will open up the wizard. You can restore your computer to a previous state. Just select the closest date before you installed the IE 7.0. Using this feature till not delete files but will erase newly installed software and hardware.

Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, highlight IE7 and remove it. The way I understand it, IE 6 will still be there if you had it initially.
