Look at it this way man!!
Dont see remixing vis-a-vis composing...there u wil surely feel tht peson who remixes is a thief, banal, and unskilled man....Consider remix as a different field wherein a raw material is needed to treat..tht raw material is old songs..the point of analysis is the way of treatment. And moreover if an old song is picked a remix version surely glorifies it...so definitely when there will b more than one player on the field some wil b gud some wil b bad..But dont defame the whole concept of remixing a song..After all selecting a combi of tones tht appeals to a whole new generation is a challenge in itself !!

Well I think remix songs are sometime good and sometime simply unbearable. The best part is that we get to listen to songs which we do not know. Its good money making business both for who owns the right of the song and the one who remixes it and ofcourse the MODELS !

Deffinatly, its a new spin on an old song. Once in awhile is not so bad, but say if your P Diddy and you have no idea how to be original and track 1-17 is a remix of an old song... then you have problems.

I don't know about "good". However, I view remixes as ART appreciation and some artists put a really cool twist on a song. They broaden it's fan base and bring it new life.

I think it can be...but often times people dont do it right.
For example....P DIDDY doesnt always have the best remixes!
Sometimes their great and other times they just suck!
This can also be kinda dangerous when sampling remixes...you dont wanna step on anybody's toes, if you know what i mean!

No. Nobody can write their own song or their own movie these days, it always has to be a remake. I guess the Hollywood machine and the artists have run out of ideas.

Push a button.
Twist a knob.
Can't play an instrument.
Can't read music.
What more needs to be said.
At least the original artist makes a buck off it.
