I found this place www.wolinskyweb.net/measure -it might help you out. You didn't mention what type of fence, how far you are setting posts, and what type of construction.

Some VERY quick calculations: you have SQUARE 2.4 acres x 43560 sq/ft/acre = 104,500 sf. Now needing a linear footage for fence, this is approx. 325' per side x 4 sides = approx. 1300 lin ft. minus gates, etc.

If the property is actually square, and the lot depth is the same as the width, then one side would be 323.33 feet multiply that times 4 and you get 1293.33 feet. I would doubt very seriously if your lot has the same width as depth. That is a very rare situation. If you look at a survey of your property and add up all the boundary lines, you'll get a better idea.

An acre is 4,840 sq. yds.
Times 2.4 acres = 11616 sq yds.
The sqrt is 107.77 yds.
Times 4 sides = 431.11 yds of fence
