Because it is not a Leap Year ! Wait till 2008 after the World Cup is over the team performance will go up by leaps and bounds. After that give them a commercial break to do ads and ramp shows till 2012 - another leap year.

If anyone is to be blamed for India's dismal performnaces in cricket over the last 4 months, then undoubtedly the blame would fall on the Team as a whole. The Board, in spite of some horrific decisions have provided a balanced team, or at least tried to. The coach, in his desire to convert a backless Indian team into a aspiring and bullhead "Aussie- like" team has experimented for good. But he forgot to consider that he was dealing with Indians who are happy with whatever they have for the moment. We Indians just don't want to take trouble to enhance the future. Chappell tried and failed. Accolades to him for trying and brickbats to the team for failing so despondently. And shame on the media and politicians of democracy for still trying to blame not their own team but a foreign coach for the trouble.

Lack of self confidence... Bravo's dream ball that cleaned up Yuvi is the main reason... Den Pathan's lack of form... He is an integral part of d team and wen he provided the crucial initial breakthroughs India was right on top from d start... But now d side lacks balance and cant lift itself at crucial moments as a team which is very important for winning ODI's...

because of all the poor selections. raina hasnt perfomed for ages, jaffer was a ridiculous inclusion in the team, and why sreesanth wasnt picked for the champions trophy ill never know. They need VVS Laxman back who even the Aussies said they didnt know where to bowl to, and possibly Ganguly depending on whether he can regain form. Zaheer Khan i thought was a long shot but if they keep picking the right people and drop underperfomers they should do well right?

India have been loosing matches this year because of poor form of most of the players as they are not at all performing to their
potential. Injury to key players in between has also added the problem.
