That's all the info I could get from my brother, he says his girlfriend can't have sex with him because the doctor said so because of her scar tissue (I guess in one of her reproductive organs). Has anyone experienced this?

There must be some sort of misunderstanding...Have they ever had sex? Your ovaries are a looooong way from where you have intercourse; in a bodily function sort of way, that is why women may have sex while Pregnant unless something is terribly WRONG. For the most part scar tissue there should not impact intercourse...now if there is something else going on he needs to inquire. I fear she has been frightened by something the doctor said and if he sits down with her(and you maybe) to talk to her about this you may all(including her) be enlightened. I really think she has no clue what the doctor meant and was afraid to ask.

OR she simply does not want to have sex and just said this to your brother to avoid the entire subject...either way a conversation is necessary.

Scar tissue forms when the body heals from surgery or trauma.

I have an excessive amount of scar tissue from my c-sections and I have never heard of not beign able to have sex because of it. Scar tissue would affect sex unless it has fused her vaginal together.

When I say excessive....during my second c-section I had to have more surgery b/c my bladder, abdominal wall, and uterus were fused together with scar tissue from my 1st c-section. Not only could I have sex with all that but I got pregnant and was pregnant for 39 weeks!

It sounds like your brother is getting fed a line. Although he should not pressure her to have se xif she is making excuses why she doesn't want to.

Maybe some women will think its sexy, but some may think its weird... The joker is mad cool thought. Everyone go see the Dark Night in theaters now. Heads up: a thunderbolt is about to rip into the blanket of bland we call summer movies. The Dark Knight, director Christopher Nolan's absolute stunner of a follow-up to 2005's Batman Begins, is a potent provocation decked out as a comic-book movie. Feverish action? Check. Dazzling spectacle? Check. Devilish fun? Check. But Nolan is just warming up. There's something raw and elemental at work in this artfully imagined universe. Striking out from his Batman origin story, Nolan cuts through to a deeper dimension. Huh? Wha? How can a conflicted guy in a bat suit and a villain with a cracked, painted-on clown smile speak to the essentials of the human condition? Just hang on for a shock to the system. The Dark Knight creates a place where good and evil — expected to do battle — decide instead to get it on and dance. "I don't want to kill you," Heath Ledger's psycho Joker tells Christian Bale's stalwart Batman. "You complete me." Don't buy the tease. He means it.

Not exactly. I had cryosurgery 4 years ago because of dysplasia. They freeze off some cysts. I got pregnant a couple of months later and had trouble having my baby because of the scar tissue. But, not being able to have sex....I don't know about that!

She was either physically assulted in the past of suffered thru a miscarriage/abortion. Those are most often the cases. She could also have a gentic disease that would cause internal scarring like endometriosis.
