There are still quite a few ballrooms operating in London. Mostly they are open in the afternoon. You can probably find these quite quickly doing a Google search. Most of the still operating ball rooms are frequented by older dancers who have many years of ballroom dancing experience. They will be glad to see you and also willing to help you too.

Decide on the style you want to learn (e.g. ballroom, salsa, Argentine tango, etc), then put it in Google to see what comes up - something like "tango class London" - you'll be spoilt for choice!
