I think there is a fundamental difference between the two. This may indeed be a worthless war, but some people believe it to be a worthy cause. You're equating Sadam gassing his own people to the war. If Bush dropped a chemical bomb on D.C. because he didnt like the results of the most recent election, then you might make a comparison bewtween the two.

Not taking Saddam's side though eh??
Saddam killed his own people. And those who didn't share his view. He lived lavishly while most of his people barely had enough to eat. His secret police threw babies in the air and shot them in front of their mothers and raped daughters in front of fathers. He shouldn't be hung, he should be stabbed to death with a plastic knife.
For all of Bush's faults - getting rid of Saddam isn't one of them. Bin Laden can't get anywhere near Bush, although if he's reading this, please stop by the White House when you have minute....we have something for you.

Yes, I think he should be hung...that was the sentence handed down to him. And, because of the genocide.....killing so many innocent people over there. No, he does not have the rights as an American.
And no, while I can not stand Bush....he should be tried for treason...and then removed from office. Maybe a time behind bars may not be a bad idea. Make him an example for other politicians who get too big for their britches.

The five worst 'terrorists' in the past 75 years included:
Joseph Stalin, who killed 10,000,000 of his countrymen;
Adolph Hitler, who killed 6,000,000 Jews and others he thought to be 'undesirables' and not fit to be part of a pure German race;
Idi Amin who killed 2,000,000 people in Uganda;
George W. Bush, who has killed 655,000 Iraqis and 2,800 U.S. soldiers (so far);
Saddam Hussein, who was sentenced to death for killing 148 people in a small Iraqi village.
Of all these cretins, only Hussein has ever faced justice for his despicable crimes against humanity. Bush should be tried in an international tribunal, and - if convicted - should hang right alongside Hussein. -RKO-

in my opinion the whole trial was a show to pretend that american involvement in iraq produced a positive result. look at the way the press covered the trial. it was completely sensational and hanging a dethroned ruler will not solve any problems in the iraqi quagmire we have involved ourselves in.
