If it is acid - which sound likely - you can treat it in the short term with Tums or Rolaids ... or over the long haul with something like Prilosec.
Either way, you should treat it because continued GERD can cause esophageal lesions and cancer.

Your girlfriends right. It sounds like acid reflux disease. Some people have it really bad after every meal and some people have it every now and then. Try avoiding spicy foods or take a "pepcid" or other antacid to calm things down before eating spicy things. It's not a good thing, it can eat away at your esophagus as well as the lining of your stomach. If you get it at night in bed it's best to eat well before bedtime or rest with your top-half propped up a few inches. It doesn't sound like you have it too bad, but it can definitely get worse. You might want to visit the doc.

Your girlfriend has a good point. It sounds like acid reflux. It's very common, but you should see a Doctor to make sure you don't have a stomach ulcer. There are some good over the counter medicines that you could try until you get to the Doctor. Talk to the pharmacist, but I prefer Axid. That's what my Doctor recommended to me.

U probably having gastric and encountered acidic reaction. Your stomach is either too full or empty that caused U to burp. Try to press your upper part of your stomach exactly below your chest bones. U will feel painful if U have gastric, if not U have too much air (wind) in your stomach. To remove the air, apply balm or nutmeg oil on your stomach, it will gradually heal.

Acid reflux is the thing I believe as it is a very digusting thing to have too..Try a half teaspoon of baking soda in a cup of cold water to calm the stomach...much better than tums or rolaids which are temp relief.

Its acid reflux.
Zantac will help. Rolaids and other antacids are a short term fix. In the long term you need to change your diet and see a doctor. It might just be too much grease in your diet...but it could be something more serious as well.

It probably is stomach acid. How about trying an antacid. There are many, from liquids to pills you can buy at the store.
