It doesn't really matter that you're miserable (sorry, I know it sucks!) It matters that your baby isn't ready to come yet. Wouldn't you rather be uncomfortable for a few more weeks and have a happy healthy baby then force yourself into labor and have a baby that has a high risk of having breathing problems?

I know how you feel.. beleive me! My due date is in two weeks and I am beyond ready to have my daughter. It is to early for you to be thinking about going into labor though. Remember that the earlier you have your baby the more under developed he or she will be. Your baby is not yet concidered full trem and is not quite ready for life outside of the womb. If you would go into labor now you are risking not only your health but that of oyur unborn child. His or her lungs are not yet ready for air. Your baby won't be concidered full term til after 37 weeks. I know it's hard but you have to try to stick it out for a few more weeks. Look at it this way you still have 5 more weeks of being pampered by those areound you. If all eles fails a hot bath always helps me to relax and feel better! Good luck

You still have 5 WEEKS!! Your baby needs those weeks to fully develop and mature. You would be an idiot to try and make yourself go into labor now. Relax! It is hard and it sucks in the end but the baby needs those last few weeks to get ready to live and function on their own.

well first of all. your doctor would tell you to wait as long as possible to have your baby. the longer it stays in the womb the better. i went into labor at 34 weeks and they stopped it with some shots. They wouldnt let me have my son until i was at least 36 weeks along. however if you are that miserable i was told to have sex, eat watermelon, rub peppermint oil on your ankles.. i did all those things and i would have to say they worked because i had my son within days after doing all 3 things. good luck. as soon as your baby comes out you wont remember all this miserableness...

you shouldn't force yourself into labor, it could cause complications with your pregnancy and your child..
You should talk to your DOCTOR if your than uncomfortable and she can make some suggestions if she thinks its alright such as enducing labor medically in the hospital..
Main thing and the ONLY thing you SHOULD do is TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR, don't listen to people who "THINK" they "KNOW" what they're talking about.. 95% of them DON'T..
The ONLY person you SHOULD BE taking medical advise from IS YOUR DOCTOR.
Good luck and congrats.

Nipple stimulation. This is in the book "What to Expect When You Are Expecting." It is supposed to bring on harder contractions. Though, I don't think that you should try it until you are at least 37 weeks and considered full term. That isn't very safe for the baby.

I tried to make myself go into labor and ended up getting a csection in return so let this go naturally.

Relax. Take your time don't rush b/c you don't wanna take a chance on hurting your baby. I know this time can be very furstrating but it will soon be all over, and it will be worth it in the long run. Go take a relaxing hot shower and put your feet up. You deserve it.

You shouldn't do anything unless your healthcare provider gives you the go ahead! I had my fourth baby at 36 weeks and she had some breathing problems. The longer you can keep your baby in the better.
