I just switched from ortho tricyclen to yaz and they both make me feel extremely nauseaus in the morning....and sleepy. Is there one that doesn't cause these side effects?

it is different with every pill, but you are experiencing this becuase you have to digest the pill. THis happened to me too and my dr. switched me to NuvaRing. This way it is just absorbed into your body instead of sitting in your stomach and digesting. I have been on it for @ 6 months and I love it. No side effects...I can't even tell its there!!!

As said before. It is simply different for each person. Speak with your doctor about your symptoms and see if he/she can work with you to find the birth control method that's right for you. I went through six different pills before my doctor gave me the choice to go with the depo provera or the patch. I've been on the depo for about a year and no side effects (besides the normal not having a period one). You simply may not be able to take the pill.

Each person responds differently to birth control and nausea is the common side effect of almost every medication on the market. Since these two birth control pills caused nausea you need to let your doctor know and let him help your try to find one that doesn't make YOU nauseated.

Have you ever tried taking the pill at night? That way when you do have the side effects its while you are sleeping and you may not even notice it.

You're so pretty. Why don't you have some babies and spread those beautiful genes?

I hope you have never had an abortion, that would be a true sin to kill off beautiful intelligent children.

Remember that there is no second chance with an abortion, that one you killed will never be ever again, they don't 'reappear' when you are ready. Dead is dead.
