My insurance covers generics and I'm not sure if they're all the same with different names, or if one may have less side effects than the others. They are: aviane, junel, lessina, levora, microgestin-FE, necon, nortrel, ogestrel, sprintec, yasmin, and zovia. Thanks for any help!!

There is no best birth control since each person responds differently to each one. You need to work with your doctor to find one that is best suited to your particular body and needs etc. Only a doc can help you out. Many people can tell you what has worked best for them but that doesn't mean it will be the right one for you.

Any method except for birth control pills. I truly believe that they will eventually find a connection between bcp hormones and premenopausal breast cancer. Explore all your options before choosing the pill. Peace and good luck.

All are good forms of BC but it also is dependant on your body. Some may have side effects for you while none for others. Talk with your OB to find what is best for you.

They are all essentially the same with the same side effects. I'd try junel or yasmin first.

The best birth contorl is man's condoms.

It is wise to supplement it with another secondary birth control on the woman's side, just in case !

Don't use the patch. I know too many people with babies or who are pregnant who were on the patch.
