No, but I'll bet they and Denver are the wildcards. Very good divison.
If Green hadn't gone down, and if they didn't have all the early problems on the O-line, I'll bet they would be tied with the Chargers.
It's San Diego's division to lose. If they falter, it's anybody's game, including the Chiefs.
LJ should win the rushing title. He's got the yards, while LT is on a sick TD pace.

I've been thinking about this. The Chiefs are right where they want to be... out of the spotlight, but they are ready to take the west.
One more win against the chargers will give the chiefs the tiebreaker.
Chiefs win AFC west. While I am at it, lets predict the whole AFC
1 seed: Colts
2 seed: Patriots
3 seed: Ravens
4 seed: Chiefs
5 seed: Chargers
6 seed: Broncos
This means Chiefs Chargers at arrowhead for wild card matchup. The question will not be who wins, but who will lose? Schottenheimer cannot win in the playoffs, and neither can the chiefs. Should be interesting. Ravens put Broncos out of misery. Chiefs win on a LT fumble diving into the endzone with no time left on the clock. Then, the Chiefs knock off the colts.... God knows they won't win, and KC gets beat in New england.
Just for fun, I'm predicting the saints out of the NFC. Ultimately, Brady gets another ring.
That was fun!

Unlikely as the Chargers seem to have gotten hot at the right time. That being said, I'm calling a shot here that both the Chargers and Colts will falter come post season.
Likely AFC rep would be the Patriots, but Chiefs are certainly not out of the realm of going on to the big dance in Miami.

I'm sorry to say probably not. They are a good team but San Diego and Seattle are playing way too good for the Chiefs to stand a solid chance to win the west. Playoffs? Maybe. Divisional champ - not this year.

No chance. The Chargers have that division on lockdown. Chiefs might get a wild card. But im a Jets fan and I know any team coached by Herman Edwards will blow it in the end.

It is unlikely because of their tough December schedule. In fact, making the playoffs at all is a long shot. One thing wortht mentioning is the fact that, although the Chiefs usually falter in the playoffs, they have been to more super bowls than the Chargers, if you count the first NFL-AFL championship game as a super bowl.

NO CHANCE...I am not even sure they will get in as a wild card. SD is running away with that division, and I think Denver will put together a nice run as soon as they get Cutler some snaps. Watch out for Jacksonville and Cincinnati they have some easy schedules and will push for that wild card...I got KC watching from the sofa during week one of the playoffs (and not because they have a bye).

no way san diego is too strong, and historically the chief are losers even if they did win the west they would blow it in the first round like they always do

only if SD chokes and blows their 2 game lead..
i don't see that happening though. SD will beat Denver with cutler in there, and SD should beat KC at home later in the year. the rest of their schedule is smooth sailing..
i do expect KC to snap 5th place wild card as Denver will collapse with cutler in there, plus JAX and NYJ have some tough games ahead..

No Chance.
You have to have a Defense. Hell the Chiefs won't even win a wild card spot.
