Hi, I had bought SONY DVD combo drive 2 months back. Since then I never tried to see any movie or read any of the DVD packed with Magazines, on this drive. Today when i tried to read one DVD movie, it doesn't show any content in it.

Is there anything i am missing to load on my system. I am using pentium 4 1.8 Mhz, 256MB ram.

I once read one DVD with photographs and cliparts. You know the clipart gallery DVD.

Please HELP !!

A DVD drive ships with the capabilities of reading a DVD movie, but not necessarily the software to make it happen. Usually you will get some software with the drive that allows this, but it sounds like you didn't. Get VLC player (a free download) and then you will be able to view DVD videos. As it stands, your DVD will only allow you to access and read files on a DVD, but not act as a DVD player.
Ultimately, you need some type of DVD decoder on your machine. There are free ones and not so free ones. WinDVD works as well. Windows Media Player will NOT play DVDs by default without a decoder.

decision a million. in certainty this at present happened to my dvd participant a trutech. stored telling me incorrect disc, tried countless, comparable answer with each. Did a sprint learn on line and found out the variety I honestly have has had particularly undesirable comments and in basic terms has a time span of working for six-12 months previously "burning itself out" so in any case, i think of your out of luck.
