Contact them, and tell them you have made a mistake. Ask them whether you can send them the correct picture.

Make it clear that you are extremely interested in the job. You can even use this disaster to your advantage. See, what usually happens is that many good applications goes missing during recruitment. Thus, by making contact with them, they will notice you, and will not throw your CV out.

When contacting them, make a good imprssion, it is always helpful for recruiters to speak to a candidate directly, in order to get an idea what the person is like.

Good luck, I am certain you will be fine!!!

Actually, I think it depends on the photo you sent. For example; If was a photo of a dog or some object, your application will probably stick out so, yes, by all means call them and make light of it, ask if they would like the real you.

I was thinking it might give you some character and may be what they are looking for.

One thing is for sure, your application with the wrong photo will be noticed, if you make them aware of it!

They may think you are just careless or just silly! Why don't you contact them, own up to your mistake and send the correct photo. Make a joke of it and you'll be seen to be human. That's what I'd do

it shouldn't matter. It is illegal for them to decide if they want to hire you or not, by the way you look (right or wrong photograph).
