recently, i found out my best friend was a homsexual, and people tell me that i shouldn't be surrounded by such bad behavior or things such as homsexuality in a person. i wanted an opinion, what do you think about homsexuality? do you think it's BAD? why or why not?

Yes it's bad . But we don't have to avoid them.

It is not bad to have a homsexual friend, and you should not mind what other people think of him. I follow this motto, did anything change after you found out your friend was gay? If not, then continue being his friend. If you a little shaken by the news then talk to him about it.

I think it's great! People being who they really are instead of hiding behind some type of persona like they used to. I have a BIL who is gay and has no problem telling people or standing up for who he believes in / loves. I think gay's / lesbians should have every right as others, I think they should be allowed to marry, adopt, have benefits...etc! I don't / can't not love someone for being who they truly are! That's insane!

I don't think it's bad. I personally think that a person has the right to choose how to live their lives. Other people who disagree shouldn't pay any mind to them. As for your friend, should his sexual orientation have a effect on your relationship? If it doesn't bother you too much then I think you should still be friends.

i dont think you should stop talking to people that are gay... i think being gay is a part of life. men will deny it but most women will admit that all of us have had a time where we had feelings for someone of the same sex... for example there is a girl at my work who is a lesbian... when i first met her everyone told me she wanted to hook up with me and all that... well one day i told her ---im not gay... girls freak me out, but i dont have a problem with being your friend--- me and her are good friends, we hang out all the time, she calls me with all her problems, and my boyfriend even gets jealous sometimes when i give her more attention...
Like people for WHO they are NOT WHAT they are...
Dont judge people on their likes and dislikes...

Depends on what kind of a friend you want to be. Is this other person bad? Has he hurt you or other people before? Does he tell you who you should and should not be friends with?
Judge him/her on their merits - not on what other people tell you.

No it's not bad at all. He like guys, you like girls, what's the big deal? Would you stop being someone's friend just because they liked apples, and you like oranges? Same principle.

As a gay man, I can tell you that I didn't choose to be gay any more than you chose to be straight. So how is something that is naturally a part of who you are wrong? It's not.

I think homosexuality is fine and is how people are and whoever is telling you that its bad well there not very nice. I think that they are a bad influence for being so discriminating
