Nope, I'm not offended at all. I didn't vote for him EITHER time he ran for office. I don't think its funny though either... our country is headed down a scary path and I'm just thankful that people seem to finally be seeing the light (after the latest elections when the democrats took the house AND senate!) and that Bush will be out of office very SOON!!

Imagine if an American newspaper ran a similar cover about any head of any country in the world. What an outcry there would be not only by the people of that country but from many liberal Americans. I find the cover in poor taste. I believe countries all over the world have benefited socially and financially from the United States. We have given billions of dollars to assist many countries. We have given the lives of millions of our young men and women in wars to suppress those who would invade and oppress other countries. I do not understand the mentality of countries and people of those countries who look at the United States as a country to be disdained and ridiculed. If it were up to me I would cut off all aid to any country who supports a negative attitude towards we Americans. If we are so bad and so stupid then let them deal with there own famines, earthquakes, wars, dictators and problems.

Not embarrassed at all. Big business and government know how to persuade the dumb people to the voting booths, and dissuade others, I didn't get my signature card until a week after the poles closed, I wonder who could have managed that? just the registration process is enough to dissuade some people from voting. and then the worm they found in the voting computers, should have called for a recall. Many people would have voted against him if the voting process wasn't full of holes.
The Republicans played up to Americans inner child, and being Americans that love to play... they voted with their "gut feeling "rather than with their brains.
Democrats believe that the people are intelligent and can see thru the Republican misinformation. While republicans know they are not.
People like having their inner child played up to,especially when bored, they wanted to see America get in a war and "kick ***" while they sat in their easy chair watching FOX, and they would accept any misinformation that allowed them to do that.

I'm not offended by what other people think. If somebody I respect thinks badly of me, it might be bothersome to some degree, but even then I wouldn't be offended. And, I certainly am not offended by what somebody thinks of someone other than me.

Being offended seems to be the new national sport. I don't particularly enjoy team sports.

NO! We have freedom of speech. And if bush is doing a poor job then someone has the right the say so and if they think that people are not paying attention then they have the right to say that as well. It definitely tells the truth.

PLEASE!!!! No matter who we vote for we will always get someone that has problems running things, making decesions, or just being smart in several areas than one. So you have to ask yourself,,,, who is the lesser evil? Offended of that picture? Not at all..If Kerry had won, they would be picking on us about him.
