I think you could but you have to be very, very careful about how much and how often-because at that age the child is still getting most of his/her nutrients and vitamins and just plain nurishment from milk/formula and if you give him/her too much water or juice he/she won't get the nurishment he/she needs and can actually become malnurished!

You CAN. But you SHOULD NOT. A 1 month old baby should not be having anything other than breastmilk, or formula if you can not breastfeed.
You could seriously harm a newborns stomach lining by trying to feed it foods or juice too early. And 1 month is too early by many many months.
Please check with your pediatrician before you even think of doing this.

You aren't supposed to give babies juice until about 6 month old. For a one month old breast milk or formula should be the only thing he eats. Unless told differently by the pediatrician. If he hasn't had an allergic reaction he should be fine I would just advise her to tell these people formula/breast milk only. Or ask her before feeding at all.

Good question. I am sure you are not talking about giving your baby a bottle of apple juice, because it is too soon, but if you wish, you can put a drop of diluted homemade apple juice on your finger and bring it to your baby's lips and see what will happen. It won't hurt the baby.
Actually any new food should be tested this way regardless baby's age. You are alive because your great...great. . . grandmother knew how to test baby's food, before paediatricians, self help books and Internet was invented; thank you for asking.

NO....babies should not have any juice until they are at least 5 months old, and then it should be diluted a bit, their little stomachs can't take juice yet, it can cause diarhhea along with other stomach problems. Apple juice can alos cause colic in young babies.

I would not give your baby apple juice, your baby's digestive system is not ready for it yet. My friend has a baby that is 4 months and the Dr even advises her not to give her baby water alone. I would double check no matter what with your Dr.

I wouldn't recommend giving juice until about 4-6 months. Ask your doctor when the best time is.

Absolutely not. A one month old doesn't have a mature digestive system. If they are constipated try giving warm water. When in doubt always ask the baby's pediatrician.

no, babies get all the fluids and nutrients the need in breatmilk or formula. Pediatricians do not reccommend giving anything else until a baby is 6 months old
