Right now i live in AZ but next year i'm moving to GA for school (music business major) but i know people here who are trying to make it as artists but they won't give me a chance to represent them. Sexist maybe. And they don't listen to my suggestions. What do you mean, start at clubs and bars?

You are not too late, you are of a ripe age for the industry. Age has some weight but not a lot, what you need are contacts, enthusiasm, determination and woman power. Show them you can do it. Good luck.

you need to start doing the skill at local bars & clubs.
get really popular in your town so that other towns want
to bring you for special occasions. you don't have to know
someone. you get "discovered" by someone. but you have
to practice excellence in your art. start making CDs and selling them. excellence works.
