Is it safe to put lube directly on the genital areas or just on the condom itself?

Lube it is very safe, and most of them are aproved by the USDA.
The application of the LUBE can be internal or eternal. If you want to lubricated the condom or inside vagina.
Me and my partner used all the time and for the last 2 years with no problem.

Applying it on the genital areas is safe though some people have a mild reaction or irritation to lube and spermicide if it gets inside the urethra and vaginal cavity and therefore, cannot use it. Try a small amount first.

depends on what you are using for lube.
as well as where you are putting the condom.
wouldn't the lube applied to the condom ultimately be on the genital areas?

Safe to apply directly... keep in mind that if you put it on a condom its going to get all over you anyway.

Use KY jelly it's safe for you and your condoms. Don't use petroleum base lubes(vaseline).

KY jelly is safe extremely safe.. Inside, Outside, all over.. (lol).. I can remember my grandmother using it.. Must be age old safe lube ...

It depends on the lubricant - if it's KY it should be OK, since that's a surgical lubricant designed to be safe for human skin.

Both water and oil based are fine for internal use but DO NOT USE OIL BASED IF YOU ALSO USE CONDOMS.

both are fine if water based, dont use oil based, it breaks down condoms.
