Sadly, it can be done that quickly, regardless of how much time was wasted on the relationship. And yes, at this point the time was wasted. Though it is not all a loss. I believe you learn a lesson from every relationship. Forget about this guy, he's trash. People like this get drawn in by the thought that the grass is greener. Well, guess what? The grass is greener on the other side, but only because you failed to water your own grass. Feel me? Go out there and live for yourself, without him. You will meet someone more deserving, and sometimes it takes awhile, but it will happen. And one day, who knows, maybe he'll finally realize what he ****** up. Then he'll want to come back, but by then you'll have found someone 10x better, and then he'll feel like ****. Karma at it's best.

Well of course it would be kind of painful to experience that. The reason is that we subconsciously want to be the best, so if our ex is happy with someone else it makes us feel like maybe THEY are the best. Seeing our exes miserable in a new relationship makes us feel good because "Hey, I'm way better than that guy/girl!" It's selfish, but it's human nature.
My advice: Just walk away. Nobody likes a clingy ex-girlfriend--it's called stalking. Yes I know you're trying to be friendly and supportive, but show your support by giving him the space he wants. If things fall apart, he'll run to the last person that treated him well, which would be you. Just make your decisions with your head and not with your heart, because a broken heart makes poor decisions.

It would make me heart drop. But. I'ts your ego talking not your love. When you love someone you want them to be happy, what you don't want it not be jealous that your ex is having fun. That's not exaclty love. Depending on your relationship with your ex you can technically be as friendly as socaible with her as your mates. Forget about your former "possessing her" mode, it's just no longer the case, unless of course she might be winding you up if she wants you, but this dones't look very likely and don't make this idea boggle your mind. It's not impossible though.
THe best bet for you would be not to ever see her again, which you apparently can't easily do.

Well, seeing her happy at least would make me happy, I would think.
The fact that your heard "drops" is because your jealous. Be careful! Jealousy is one of the most dangerous things. Just try to think of something else, like the person you are with now. Being jealous could cause your ex to dislike you (if she doesn't already) and your current you become your ex! Just try to keep your mind of her, and stay focused on your current, and on all the other things going on in your life.

I know I'm not male but I couldn't not answer this question. When you have been in love with a person not all of it disappears once you have finished it's like they've taken a little piece of your heart away.
However, you have to move on with life and be happy for yourself and your ex that's if she really means that much to you.

Well chances are yes if you still luv them. It normal for u to still have some sort of feelings for your ex and seeing being happy when your not can definitely make your heart. You just have to put your ex behind you so you can get along in your life.

Stay well away from your ex.
Move on. Get it out of your mind. You split up, unless she is on death's door and for some bizaar reason only you can assist her then of course help out. Since that is not reality I'd forget about her and concentrate on the present. Looking back to the past like that, through rose-tinted glasses, will lead to silly trouble.
Move on.

It would make me a bit sad yes. Totally normal. Try to be happy for them, and get the same situation for yourself.
