considering how it broke up it played pretty well. Australia made 200 in quick time in the second innings - can't have been too bad.

I beg to disagree with you because in the same pitch Australia scored 602 runs in the first innings and 202 for the loss of one
wicket in the second innings and England scored 370 runs in the fourth innings. This shows that it was a good batting track. If England had played the same way they played in the fourth innings in the first innings also, they could have saved the match.

A test match that goes into the 5th day. Batsmen could hit big hundreds. Bowlers could take 5+ wickets. Bounce, pace, spin and good batting conditions. What more do you want? And which pitch doesn't have cracks by the 4th day?

if i was a moaning pom i would agree with you but i aint get over it we seemed to bat ok didnt we always looking for some sort of excuse for playing **** why not complain about it being to hot or just keep praying for rain like you do you might get off the hook with a draw ....sore loser

it may have had cracks but thats the game isnt it, if flintoff won the toss it could have been alot different....or maybe not. we'll just have 2 wait til the next test
