I do. If I dont have air circulating on me, I get sick to my stomach and get a bad headache. I sleep with a ceiling fan on, and a little personal fan on my nightstand. I have a little 6 inch fan I keep on my desk at work also. Winter or summer. They are always on me.

Depending on whether it is the "white noise" from the fan or the air movement or both that you miss, you can take a small fan with you on trips or buy a "white noise" machine and tote that along. Sometimes parents use them for babies to mask outside noise during naps.

One product is called the Marsona Sound Machine, available from Magellan's for 89.95, weighing in at about 1.5 lbs. which IMHO is sort of pricey. A cheap, compact fan just might be a better choice.

My husband and I have 3 fans, one ceiling fan, and we each have our own on our nightstands. We can't fall asleep without them on even in the winter. Try packing a small fan when you go on vacation.

Yup! We had to buy 220-volt fans our first night in Europe and packed them in our suitcases the rest of the trip!

Who needs an expensive white noise machine when you have a fan?

Oh man! My husband does this and it used to not bother me but now it drives me nuts. Especially when it is cold out and it freezes me in the winter. So does my sister. Alot of people I know do. I don't understand it but I know it is out there.

My husband does. You can buy a small fan and take it with you when you travel.

yeah, because it blocks out each and every of the little noises, and also you get used to its humming, and this is in simple terms relaxing and non violent after somewhat. and it would not even face me in the course of the chilly seasons
