My girlfriend is a stud (black version of butch) and i think she gets hit on by more men then i do! lol. It really makes her sick 2 her stomach each time it happens & she doesnt understand why they are attracted to her? I dont really see anything wrong with it personally, because even though she isnt feminine she's still a very attractive woman. Is this common?

I asked a similar question a couple months ago, because my wife is somewhat butch and constantly gets approached by men. It does seem to happen a lot! I think it's a combination of challenge, the woman being naturally attractive, men wanting a woman they can relate to as a friend, and men just having more interesting and varied tastes than they're told to have by the media.

More common than you'd think. Everyone seems to think that our society has a general revulsion to butches, but I've heard of so many straight men hitting on them that I think that must be a lie. There are a lot of men who prefer sporty, tough, tomboyish girls, and butch women often fill that ideal. Or it can just be the sheer factor of exoticness- they are so very different, yet still womanly at the same time- it's a combination that even gets me going. It definitely happens.

Sounds good for her i mean obviously she's very attractive. I dont think its very common for men to hit on butch girls, though. Im somewhere in the middle ..the only time I get hit on by men is if I am wearing something realitively feminine.

Some men see it as a challenge. She is after all an attractive woman, if she's not quite feminine, she seems like a close friend. Alot of men mistake feminine for phony.

This sounds corny - women who look like that and those who are very atheletic are super sexy. It is like some people preferring certain type of sex over the regular, uhm....., you know.....
More men find it very attractive because I am willing to bet she has a super shapely body and nicely proportioned breasts.
Supersized breasts or large buttocks are a turn offs. So, there you have the answer (I hope)
