Not everything has to be broken down and analysed,

I agree with you!! I hate the way everything in the world has to be looked at and torn apart so people can know 'WHY'. I don't understand why we can't accept that things are the way they are, and just leave them alone. I understand research for medicine and whatnot, but ever since learning the scientific explination for a rainbow's appearance when I was in elementary school, I've hated knowing. It totally takes the magic out of the everyday things we come in contact with- I think science and advances in technology are going to be the downfall of humanity. People just don't understand there should be LIMITS! .

The problem is not science. The problem is that some scientists lack the humility to recognize that there are other valid approaches to understanding life and the universe.

Wow. Knowledge about the universe around you is wonderful to me! To look at the stars at night and not say, "Gee, I wonder how those things can predict my future," is very important to me. I look at them and marvel at the space between, the age of the light I see, and the processes going on inside to make such a beautiful sight. My daughter LOVES to talk about how things work and what the meteoroids are.

Not everyone wants the bliss you experience with your ignorance.
