What kind of advise are you looking for or needing involving the Ouijia board? You are very very vague.. your just asking for experiences... you didn't really give anything to give advise on... you need to be more clear about what it is your looking for.
To most the Ouijia board is not a good thing, for some they enjoy it and look at it as a portal to communicate to the world beyond. Some have good and pleasant experiences as others have bad or terrifying experiences while using the Ouijia board.
You must never abuse the Ouijia board or insult anything as such and use it as a prank or not take it seriously when using.. no matter your belief whether you believe in it or not, you need to respect that aspect of the world....
Be wise, be safe.. and just be Respectful.

Why would you bother? I mean, a person should always be wise when considering who to invite into their home or life. A Ouija board may simply be a game that allows you to play on your own fears, but what if its not? If a Ouija board is a device that connects you to a different realm then I would have to consider the possibility of connecting to someone or something that is probably best left alone. A spirit in a guise could pretend to be your loved one, perhaps.
Nothing good will come of it IMO. I have never heard anyone report a good experienc with such a device.

First off, Ouija boards are mystical portals if you have the right kind. Stupid little plastic and cardboard won't work. You have to get a real one, look for a mysical shoppe or look online at a wiccan site.
Second, if your family member has passed and they haven't been gone for more than a year and they died naturally, that is without malice(murder) you won't be able to contact them. They have to have time to settle into the afterlife and get used to transferring through the portals of time and space. (i sound like a cartoon)
Third, my occurences with a board shows that you can't mess around. you must be serious and you must be able to believe wholly and fully that you can contact the beyond. If not the beyond will contact you and they won't be happy.
**In my own use was that of my cousin who passed. she had been standgin on the corner of her college campus when a partywagon of drunk fraternity boys missed a turn and ran her over. I ended up talking to her three weeks after it happened.**
look at the site below and you shoudl find a good board to use and get good results.
Blessed Be.

I do believe it may be possible to contact/commune with spirits, but the BIG negative is that you have no guarantee of who you are going to get. It seems everyone has a "bad Ouija" story. For a reason. Any malicious spirit could play tricks on you, just to mess with you. You might think it's your great-aunt Gertie, but it won't be. I also think, just my own opinion, that souls that have "crossed over to wherever" probably don't communicate. So what you'll be getting is any spirits stuck in between, and they are probably not happy about it.
You want advice? Don't do it. And never, ever, do anything like that without being in a protected circle, if you have to do it at all.

See how everyone’s story starts with “I was messing around with” and then ends badly? That’s because they were just messing with it and didn’t understand what they were doing or what to do. However, if dealt with seriously the Ouija board can be a viable link to the other realm. My greatest advice to you would be to do research. By this, I mean go to the library. Pick up a book and read it as if it were a school assignment. Take notes. I’m sorry to say that surfing the ‘net will only get you stories. Email me if you wish to discuss anything.

Don't play around with them, despite the fact that they are made by Parker Brothers, they are not toys. I've had some bad experiences with them and regret playing with them. If you do decide to do it anyway, don't do it into your house.
Edit: I just saw you wanted to use it to contact a loved one. I understand your reasons for wanting to communicate, but you cannot do it this way. You will likely get an impersonator and your feelings hurt. You are better off going to some sort of "professional" who will be able to manage any possible spirits.

I don't want to blindly believe but they work. I've played with one by myself and with others who swear that they didn't move it. You can only wonder if it's the power of your own mind or real spirits that talk to you. What I do know is that I asked the board once where I could find a ring that I had lost. It told me about a very specific spot, and sure enough, there it was. Now, did I suddenly remember or someone else saw me dropping it where I found it? That's a question of faith i suppose.

dont play with them, ill tell u my experience, i am 29 now but this happened when i was in 8th grade at Monroe Jr, High in Inglewood California.
Some friends and i were messing around with this quija board asking dumb things and fooling around, then one of us asked it " who was the next person to die that was in the classroom?" ( we had a substitude teacher " Mr. Wayde" our regular teacher was out sick , thats why we were fooling around ). it started going in circles , like an eight horizontally. Supposedly, this is when the devil is getting through. So anyway we asked that and it spelled out W-A-D-E, we all said yeah right and kept on playing, we joked around and the spirit we were supposedly communicating with was that of a 14 year old boy who had been hung in the year 1688 because he had stolen some food. Class ended and we thought nothing of it, but then about three weeks later there was an announcement over the PA system that Substitude who we all knew had been killed in a car accident, Mr. Wayde was well known among the students because he would substitude any teacher, any time and would let us do what we wanted in class as long as it didnt get out of hand. So he was dead and we all stopped playing that darn thing after that. It was some scary Sh!t.
Another true story comes from my mom, she told me that when she was around 9 years old her cousins used to play the board in Mexico, they tried to throw it away and the next day it would appear at the doorstep of their house. The only way to get rid of it is to burn it.

I wouldn't mess with things you can't control.Yeah it's sold as a toy but it's not.If your weak mined and you communicate with the being your life is changed forever. I've had my bad experience with the board . It seems that somehow you lose a little of yourself after opening that gate so it's best to go to some one who can communicate with the souls & not risk your own.

Those boards are fake and don't really work. Most of the time it's your own imagination scarying the crap out of you. So weren't get one if I were you. The only experience I had was a load of crap. Queen Victoria told my roommate she was going to die a virgin but still have sex. Which makes so sense whatsoever unless she got one of those operations in the future to get her virgnity back.
As for the demon talk just pure imagination. Gullible people convince by there own minds talking to them b/c of the movies like The Excercist.
