im 15 weeks along with twins. I had a normal delivery in a hospital with both of my other 2 kids. I want to try a water birth this time. Do you think it will be fine to have a water birth or should i just go to the hospital?

Talk to your dr and midwife!!
The biggest concern I would have are complications (early delivery) of twins!!
Good luck!! And you are more brave than I will ever be!!!

I would wait to see if any complications develop during the pregnancy. I personally don't believe in water birth. I think the whole concept is stupid and doesn't serve the kids well in the real world because they have to come out of the water sometime and face the cold harsh realities of the world. Also, your two other kids might feel resentment because the new kids had a special birth process.

With twins anything can happen so I'd go to the hospital. But if your hospital offers a water birth and your twins are healthy then go for it.

You will have to find a midwife that will deliver twins and I doubt you will find one, because twins puts you at risk for complications. It will be safer for you and your babys to be in the hospital just in case you have complications while delivering.

Good Luck to you.

Talk it over with your ob. I personally wouldn't do it. But I think if it is what you really want to do and it is safe for you to do it than do what your heart desires. Good luck to you!

I THINK IT BEST TO HAVE WATER BIRTH BECAUSE THE WATER ACTUALLY CLAMS YOU MORE I'M NOT SAYING THAT IT'S GOING TO EASE TO PAIN BUT HOWEVER IT'S MORE RELAXING.
