liquid film for making leaves and flower petals on a wire frame?

maybe 30 years ago i was doing a craft of making flowers out of a liquid film that i dipped a wire frame in and it hardened like a piece of cellophane. I was wondering if any one remembers the name of the product and if it si still available.....Thanks, Gerry
