Just wondering if I should spend my money on it.

Yes yes yes yes yes!

It is not a greatest hits compilation, but rather a soundtrack. It is an album of remixes made by original Beatles producer Sir George Martin and his son Giles. They are not what you would think of as remixes, as they just remixed Beatles songs and put other Beatles songs within others. For example, the best example is Within You Without You (from Sgt. Pepper's...) being mixed with Tomorrow Never Knows' (from Revolver) drum tracks and the other elements (such as those seagulls heard in the background). I believe you can preview the album at the Beatles website.

No no no no no no no no! The Beatles are outstanding the way they are on the originals. Remastering them is yet another be conscious for destroying them, what are they taking section in at? they attempt to con youthful human beings into finding out to purchase them because they are 'cool', and so the more youthful human beings will familiarize themselves with those remastered copies wondering they are how they are meant to be and thoroughly omit the point of who the Beatles were as artists. maximum modern-day day music is garbage - why inflict that on the Beatles?

I don't think so there are much better compilations out there with better songs on it. Number 1's would be a better choice if you want a compilation cd
