Portuguese? They're nice, funny, lively. They live in a beautiful interesting and quiet country. As for their language, it's a romance language, so similar to spanish, italian, french, romanian. Portuguese music is wonderful. There are lots of wonderful seaside resorts in Portugal. If you learn more about them, you'll surely like them. Good luck in widening your knowledge.

Portugal is one of those mysterious countries that we never ever hear anything about in America. (I've wondered about that. Never really hear much about Spain, either.) So, based on the fact that we never get to hear anything about the Portuguese, I don't have any opinion about them. Never heard or read any other American opinion, good or bad, about the Portuguese, either.

My impression is that they are rather liberal but with an Old World flare. They enjoy celebrations and festivities, it does not need to be five 0'clock for the celebration to start, and also hot-tempered.

I have no problem with anybody as long as they're legal and don't ***** about the way things are in America.
