I would make a large kitchen but a larger living room.
That way i could fit a large flat screen and my sectional couch with surround sound. :o)

The living room. Because I am not a great cook. I am getting better with time but it is not something I love to do. So I would need minimal space in that room. However, the living room - oh the things I could do with a large living room. I'm sure my hubby would want the huge TV w/surround sound, large sofas for viewing movies, playing video games, etc. And I would want a section of the living room for a large bookcase & a couple of recliner-type chairs & floor lamps, somewhere I can sit comfortably & read my books.

I would like to have a Functional, Decently Sized Kitchen (one that I can use as a Left-Handed individual, which means NOT organized in a standard way) and would be willing to sacrifice some space in the living room to get that functionality.

The Kitchen would still be smaller than the Living Room, but I would FINALLY be comfortable in it, and not have to deal with the stove on the wrong side, no space EXCEPT opposite where I need to do my prep work, The sink isolated in an uncomfortable location on a weak side of my body, a Functional/usable Pantry, etc.

Personally, it would have to be a larger living room. That is the center of your home and is the room where you are more likely to entertiain yourself as well as your guests. Although many people do like to meet in the kitchen, it doesn't have to be big. Unless you are a chef and is used to and demands space. I would go for a larger living room.

A large living kitchen. We spend a lot of time eating, and with there being 4 in our house I like space in the kitchen for safety reasons.Plus my partner and I are 6ft.If we had a small kitchen we would be tripping over 2 cats and 2 kids. They have their half of the kitchen with the table, etc. Then we have the other half to cook, and play music, dance around. We have lots of fun in the kitchen.

People just love to congregrate in the kitchen especially when you are cooking. I have a tiny kitchen and both kids wanna talk and hang out but I barely have room to go to sink and stove, I would love a huge kitchen and a huge living room so that I can have my space and have enough room for everybody to chill.

Larger living room. I'd rather have more space for my daughter to run and play than have a massive kitchen. I mean, I like big kitches, but sometime too much room is not a good thing.

i would go with the large living room since i might have guests over during parties and stuff like that. the kitchen isn't really that important, i don't need a huge one to scramble some eggs!
