and I'll tell you anything you want to hear.
I'm sorry, that sounds a bit ruder than I meant it really. I just think it appeals to people who like to wishful think. My husband, for example, is a virgo and shows almost not characteristics of a virgo whatsoever. Likewise my brother being a scorpio. And what about all the vagueness too? "You will find your perfect partner soon, if you're not already with them" Eh?? What's all that kind of stuff about?
Why on earth would we be ruled by the stars in this way? Does every taurus have the same kind of life or even outlook on life then because of their birth sign? I doubt it very much.
All comments and explainations welcome. I always like to hear both sides. And a cornflake to the first person who can guess what star sign I am from the way I type. (I'm actually quite typical of my sign, which I think is completely coincidental)

Sorry, the question at the start is rhetorical. I have nothing to offer you in way of hope. LOL I just wanted some comments about what you all though about star signs generally. If I could predict your futures I'd tell you all the winning Lotto numbers or something useful not that your full moon is rising in geminis back yard or something equally as rubbish.

Oh well, one thing we can say for most star signs is that they only read the initial question and not the explaination. Nevermind.

I think I understand your question, from reading the explaination as to why you asked it. :) So let me give my answer, to my best ability, on the subject.:
Yes, we are all born under a certain sign. There are many other Aries, Virgo, and Capricorn people out there. Tons! But why are they all so different? If you were an Aries woman like I was, why aren't we the same? We born under the same sign, then why is there such uncommon traits about us? Well, that's actually easy to explain, if you dig a bit deeper into astrological science. And yes...it is a complex science going centuries back. ;)
Though we have our sun sign that were born under, we have the planets which represent certain parts of our personalities. Depending on the numbers of our birthdates, locations, astronomy, and birth time, our planets will be ruled over OTHER signs, probably some that are not even the same sign as the one we were born under! It's what makes each person unique.
The sun sign is the canvas, and the planets' ruling signs are the colors of our qualities and personality traits. Newspaper and other simple daily horoscopes aren't very accurate, in my opinion. I don't read them, because they're basic and so vague! I totally agree with you on that aspect. My suggestion is to not take the time to follow them, and just live one day at a time the best way you can. At least you can always count on yourself rather than a newspaper prediction saying, "You'll meet the love of your life today!"
Yeah...right. Doesn't work that way. Anyways, hoped that put some light on astrology for you. Best wishes.
P.S. And uh...I couldn't guess your sign unless I meet you in person. I'm not that good. lol

I'm a Sagittarian female and I think certain aspects of horoscopes are true. For example; being a Sagittarian I love travelling, I'm optimistic and I'm always right but there are parts of being a Sagittarian that I'm not like.
You have to take into consideration, things like, your rising sign and where the other planets are in your birth chart. Only then do you get a true picture of your personality. I don't believe the stars written in the papers etc coz the same thing can't possibly happen to so many people at once but I do recommend getting your personal horoscope done professionally, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Doll two good books are Linda Goodmans sun signs and her book Love signs... You must also take into consideration moon sign, rising sign and many other planetary placement. There are few "TRUE" Virgos cappies etc. I myself am a Capricorn with a Leo moon and Scorpio rising so you have characteristics of all these so you need to get a full chart done to fully understand and explain everything

lol thick eyebrows are Aries as far as I know. Taurus risings usually have a thick neck and a broad smile. they're also supposed to have really white teeth and all that but I think it would depend more on how often they brush. Cancers will most probably have soft features.. like light colored eyes and hair. Aqua sun/risings tend to stand out. that's as much as I can remember for now..

I'm a cancer....and allthough I listen to my horoscope daily on the radio and it's the fierst thing what I read when I open a magazine, I understood that it's all rubish and peple just make that up and just sometimes it may coinside. Generally peple read horoscopes when they are lonely or hope in something.
Now I try not to pay to horoscopes atancion because they don't tell the truth!!!:)
