Hy Husband and I are trying to conceive but my periods are irregular. I was wondering if there are any herbal meds out there that could help to regulate me some. All advice is welcome...

I would stay away from the herbs, because once you become pregnant you may not realize you are pregnant at first and the herbs may harm the baby.

Since your periods are irregular I suggest to you and your husband that you just let good ole mother nature do her job. Have sex every other day and just see what happens. Don't put too much pressure on getting pregnant otherwise it won't happen. You will get stressed and your husband will get stressed.

Also, in the meantime take care of your body, so your body is prepared to become pregnant. Drink lots of water, start taking a prenatal vitamin, don't smoke or drink or do drugs, etc., and cut down on caffeine intake. So when you do become pregnant your body will be nice and healthy. Good Luck I hope it happens quickly for you. I am also trying to conceive. :)

You can take a Women Fertility Boost tea but it won't do much.

I would recommend taking a prenatal vitamin since you are trying and also read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. She explains FAM, Fertility Awareness Method. You chart your fertility signs in order to predict ovulation. You could figure out when you do ovulate and if you ovulate. Any information you get from charting will also help a fertility doctor figure out what is going on with you.

What do you consider irregular? Many women vary 3-5 days in length and are quite normal.

Good Luck!!

Don't worry about irregular periods. I had abnormal periods and both times I've gotten pregnant, it happened within 2 mos!!
Either buy one of those fertility things or just have sex every day...as long has you are both healty. An abnormal period doesn't signal a health problem necessarily. Unless the abnormality is an extrememly long period. Even that might not affect fertility. I'll let you know when my sister gets married and starts to have kids.
My period would vanish for 3-9mos at a time. Not to worry. just have FUN trying.

GOOD luck and ~*~*~*Baby Dust*~*~*~

Hey welcome to the club! I have had irregular periods as well...one day on the 5th the next on the 20th, etc, etc. Youre best bet is to not time it... Let "the lovin" happen when you want it...don't make it a project. I was so determined to have a baby i tired hard and made it a project. I would try to calculate my ovulating state and try to calculate my next period. you're best bet is to eat healthy (folic acid is good), and excersise. 2 months after i did that, i became pregnant, and it was when i decided not to try. Don't worry about any kind of meds- its not worth it. You'll be pregnant soon enough as long as you take care of yourself. Good Luck

Good nutrition is always a good remedy. Try to find natural/organic meats and dairy (if you eat meat, that is). The fewer hormones and weird things you get from the food you eat, the better for your own hormones. I've also heard that oregano is very good for women's wellbeing, so you might OD on Italian food for a while...there's worse things!

I used to get my period every 4 to 5 months. Then I read about Ovulex. I started using and the very next day my period came and its been regular ever since.
