IF YOU GO TO A JIFFY LUBE OR EXPRESS LUBE THE COST STARTS AT ABOUT 40.00 FOR A COOLANT FLUSH WITH GREEN COOLANT AND ABOUT 60.00 FOR A COOLANT FLUSH WITH DEX-COOL OR ORANGE COOLANT. ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT KIND OF COOLANT THE VEHICLE TAKES AND HOW MANY GALLONS THE MANUAL SUGGESTS TO FLUSH IT PROPERLY. SOME PLACES ALSO USE A FLUSH ADDITIVE IN THE MACHINE THAT CAN RUN ANYWHERE FROM 20.00 DOLLARS AND UP. BEST THING TO DO IS TO CALL AROUND AND ASK FOR PRICES AND WHAT THEY USE TO FLUSH IT. IF THEY WANT YOUR BUSINESS AND YOU FIND A PLACE YOU WANT TO GO TO, A LOT OF TIMES THEY WILL MATCH THE LOWEST PRICE. GOOD LUCK IN YOUR ENDEAVOR.

A flush is more than just draining the radiator and refilling it. You need to circulate the coolant to get all the old stuff out, and manually flush the heater core. There are probably a lot of restricted passages that need to be cleaned out in the core and the radiator.
There's also a good chance that a flush will cause the radiator to leak since you're cleaning out deposits and sending water to places that haven't seen it in a while. It will run $60 to $80.

hi ... you can fill it either way... what you doe is run the water through untill you are sure the flush is all out. Let it drain then fill with coolant/antifreeze as per the instructons on the coolant and top off with water... Most people now just use the coolant and no water. But you dont need to do that ... Remember when you fill it run the engine and watch the fluid level .... it will drop becasue the fluid is replacing the coolant lost from the engine too... ( people for get this and end up over heating becasue they didnt fill up fully)

The price probably differs from place to place. Why don't you just call the radiator shop and ask them how much it will cost? I am sure they will tell you.

price depends on where you live and if you want a dealership or independant repair facility to do the work.
