Use an online backup service like http://www.backuptotheweb.com. It's relatively cheap and easy. Online backup lets you store your backup in a safe place...offsite.
The initial load may take a while, but after that it only backs up changes, so daily backups are quick!
Better still, they offer free trial accounts...

Good day. Is according th what kind of burner u have. If u have a CD-R, U can back up on normal CDs. If u have DVD-R, u can back up on DVDs which is better cause the cd itself can take some abuse and more storage space. Just remember only DVD Rom drives can read a DVD Disc. If u dont kno what kind of burner u have, look at it and watch the logo. u may see CD-R, CD-RW or CD-R/CD-RW which is a combo drive. Get good brand name CDs eg HP, Maxell and Sony. Bad cds may flake quickly. Laterz.

I use a USB memory stick to back up my files, why are you doing a system recovery ? if it's because you've got spyware or a virus then by backing up all your files and put them back on, you run a good risk of getting the problem back.

it would desire to and it would desire to no longer. it honestly relies upon on the basis of the project. in case you have a undesirable complicated stress, then that's definitally the answer. in case you have a undesirable fan, motherboard, ram processor, surge protector, video card, sound card, ethernet port, usb port, ....... changing a complicated stress won't help you. in basic terms do it if it carshes on you because of the stress. Getting the 2d stress isn't a undesirable thought. if the stress you have is undesirable, then you definately can use the 2d stress to repeat all the significant records, would desire to the laptop fail, you might have a sturdy backup to take to a 2d laptop. in case you "ghost" or "mirror' the stress to a different stress you would be at precisely an identical factor you at the instant are. you will would desire to reinstall the working gadget (xp i presume) to have any probability to maintain the laptop working longer. as quickly as you reinstall the OS mirror the recent replica and whilst it crashes persistently returned, mirror it returned.
