Yes, I've seen that movie before. Actually, it is my favorite movie! It did inspire me to play the piano more. I have been playing the piano for about 8 years.

I was already a pianist, but that movie is a masterpiece. I even loved it as an eight year old, who couldn't understand much beyond the music and the scary man in the mask... Guess what I'm watching tonight now!? lol

As a musician, I love that movie. I haven't seen it in awhile, and I doubt I saw the director's cut, since I don't recall seeing Salieri burn a crucifix...I wouldn't be surprised - he was pretty mad at God as I recall. Since I am a musician, I did pay more attention to the musical aspect of it, but you've peaked my interest. I'll think I'll watch it again and pay more attention to that aspect. Overall, I love it. Peace!

I have probably seen that movie more than any other, I was obsessed with it as a kid for some reason. I don't like the added scenes in the director cut dvd though. What's even funnier is to watch that, and then watch him as Uncle Larry in "Parenthhood".

Yes, it's is one of my all time favorite movies,,,, the music is very beautiful.......... you can buy the CD of all the music...if you want it, it is alittle expensive now a days.
I think Amadeus was so cute and endearing, I love his sly laugh........
I love playing the piano........ maybe I should watch the movie to make me practice more........

Well, I had already been playing for years when I first saw the play, before it was a movie, so I guess my answer is no.
But it does give a sense of glory to music, doesn't it?
