look to the 60's the veitnam war just about every rock group had something to say one group really comes to mind Crosby.Stills,Nash &Young they did the song four dead in Ohio
when the national gaurd killed four students for protesting over the war the whole woodstock festival was in protest to the war you need to check out that music there I promise you will learn alot But today(current times) my favorite
protest song is rule the world with love by the barenaked ladies :)
