I think it'd be a fun new holiday. Ya know... take a day off of work, spend time with with family, and most importantly the children learn a valuable lesson! It's fun for all!

somebody actually said republicans want to get paid salary for doing nothing? you cant be serious. wellfare and handouts sure seems more prevalent to me.
and your idea is good but it would just be another excuse for the ACLU to use your tax dollars to sue right thinking people.

HA! This question reminds me of when I was a little kid, and I would ask my mother, "Mom, how come there's not a "Kid's Day" for us?", and she would say, "Are you serious?! EVERY DAY is "kid's day'!!".
Similarly, every day is "Annoy A Liberal Day" here at YA. Also "Annoy A Conservative", "Annoy A Dem", "Annoy A Republican", and on and on. Perhaps you might send your suggestion to Hallmark. They seem very willing to create and market cards for every piddling "occasion" under the sun. Make sure you copyright your idea first, to insure those residual checks. You can get Garry Trudeau to do the artwork, and Michael Moore to write the text. It's BRILLIANT. Go for it!
