Jeans are one of the most universal items around. They can be very casual with bare feet or sandals with a tee or very dressy with black stockings, heels and a silk shirt.
The trick is the condition of the jeans and the accessories. In general keep worn , old and torn for casual, and new darker jeans come alive with very sheer black stockings and red pumps with a silk shirt and some jewelry.
They are appropriate for all ages, but not all occasions. Casual Friday, but not general office wear. Great for a movie or date, but not a cocktail party. You get the idea.

Yes ofcourse jeans is the best dress for all the ages.
But for some occasions it won't looks grand to wear it. Suppose if we are going for parties we can't wear jeans and the tops, instead we have to wear the party wears like sarees, salwaars, frocks, skirt and blouses etc which ever is suitable for the party.
It depends upons the occasion

Jeans can work for ALMOST any occasion. I work in an office, for example, and we have a casual Friday. I wear jeans, but I wear a dark wash, because it looks much more professional. If you do decide to wear jeans to any kind of semi-dressy event, wear a dark color jean, or a trouser style. And yes, I think jeans work for almost every age.

The right cut and style can look great on anyone. You just have to know which one is right for you. As for any occasion...denim isn't exactly formal wear or office wear, so it wouldn't be appropriate for a dinner party where you have to dress formal-casual. And at my husbands work place, denim is something worn only on Casual Friday.
