It's got a orange rubbery layer underneath the green and the rest is hollow. If you want to see, just cut open a tennis ball!

its air cause if it happens somehow your tennis maybe accidentally it gets struck by a sharp nail or something and it gets a hole when you try to use the ball again it wont bump because the pressured air has now come out.

Nowadays they are typically filled with Nitrogen (air minus the 02). Sometimes they are rubber or pressurized, though.

just air nothing else, that is why it bounces so well, unlike a bowling ball which has a solid core and does not bounce well.
