I make peppermint bark every year. Everyone loves candy, and people get tired of cookies. I give it away in Christmas-themed tins that you can get really cheap from Wal-Mart or a dollar store. All you need is white chocolate, red and green candy canes. Break the candy canes into pieces, melt the chocolate, and mix them together. Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet, and when it hardens, break it into pieces. Wrap in tissue paper or saran wrap and put in the tins. Good luck!

I made a snowman grouping out of empty pump soap bottles - unscrew the pump and hot glue white felt on the empty bottle. Hot glue a styrofoam ball on the top of the empty bottle. Decorate your "snowman" with colored felt for scarves or stocking hats. Hot glue black beads for eyes and mouth and buttons. Hot glue miniature ornaments to the snowman.
We used them for the centerpiece at dinner with some branches cut from pine trees and they could be used the rest of the winter as decorations.

You can never go wrong with chocolate chip cookies!
Not the mix in a jar, actual prepared cookies! Use the store-brand chocolate chips and follow the recipe on the bag. And wrap them in the colored saran wrap with a white twist tie.

I have gotten some cheap ornaments (whatever color) and decorated them with paint, glitter, etc. I would personalize each one that I made one for. I always put their name and whatever goes with their personality. For example, for my husband I would put his name and surround it with flames because he likes that style. Hope this helps
