I have a 4 year degree but no experience...how can I get a job without the experience and only the education? Is education more important or experience?

Experience is (unfortunately) the first thing employers look for. Most employers are trying to fill gaps in their organization and are looking for specific skills or experience to quickly fill those gaps. Your best bets are to market yourself as a trainable person. If you have any volunteer or other experience that shows you have organizational/leadership skills be sure to inlcude that stuff on your resume. With a 4 year degree you've proven you're bright enough to learn and apply what you've learned. This is a good starting point and most employers should see you as trainable.
If your degree is a technical degree such as engineering look at some of the bigger companies as they are usually willing to hire grads and train them.

Both experience and education are important.

The first step is to contact your school's placement office - they will help you put your resume together and practice interviewing skills.

Second, you don't mention what your degree is in? In some cases, if there are big companies that hire lots of people from your major, you may find that they have "New College Grad" programs. These only look for people like you - the right degree and little or no experience.

Finally, talk to some of your professors - they may have good connections within the industry and can help you with where to look.

(Oh, and take a look at the major job websites - Monster, HotJobs, etc - they have tips which are good for everyone.)

Hope that helps!

Your first line should be your college placement office. They will have many people willing to hire new grads.
