I have a few middle names that I really like with it. I have always liked Elysienne Isabelle. I also like Elysienne Georgianne (because my g-pa that passed away named George). And I kind of like it with my first name as the middle name, Elysienne Amber.

I would call her Lysi for short.

It is pronounced E(just like the letter sounds) - lissi - enne.
Also I'm not worried about it being too long, I love long names & my oldest daughters' name is Alexandria Elizabeth - she is only 6 & she can write & spell her entire name with no problems, she loves it.

I think the name is beautiful. I googled it and searched 6 sites, but not one of them could trace the origin or find it in their data banks... you go girl. Very original. I think it is beautiful.

Yes, I LOVE the name Elysienne Amber. Elysienne Georgianne is too long, but Elysienne Isabelle sounds really cute! I never in a million years could have come up with a name as creative as Elysienne.

I think it's a very pretty name. It's very unique and old-fashioned sounding. I like the idea of honoring your grandfather by using the feminine of his name for the middle name, but Elysienne Georgiann sounds really long, I would suggest using a shorter version such as Georgia for the middle name.

Very simply, I like the name... The way I see it, I believe it to be pronounced "a-LEE-zee-enn"), but I could very well be wrong.
Anyway, one *small* thing to consider about the middle name is the length...I think having a long, elegant middle name brings a certain amount of aesthetic beauty to the name, but at the same time it makes it very long. Perhaps something short but equally pretty like "Mae" or "Marie"
All in all, great choice in my opinion.

Depends how you are going to pronounce it. It is obviously a French-derived construct. Are you going to pronounce it in a strictly French way? What about all those folks your child will encounter who have no idea how to say it correctly, whether in French or otherwise? For example, someone might insist on saying "Elly-Sheen" or "E-lie senny" or any number of things. So if correct pronunciation is important to you, better to go with an unambiguous sort of name.

I love that name - it's very feminine.
Try a shorter middle name though - like Amber, you mentioned.
