Bad as in painful grinding when you apply the brakes? You may need to replace the rotors as well. If you buy the parts online and do it yourself, You may be looking at $150.
Depending on where you are the Just Brakes company is advertising $99 for a complete brake job...
Good luck. State the model as well next time.

If your front BRAKES are bad, you should at least have your rear BRAKES checked too, since they have been having to work harder due to bad front BRAKES. Also, you rotors might need turned or replaced. It could be anywhere from $30 to $300.

It depends on what parts you are replacing, for the whole unit it should be about $600 without the price of labor.
